Revolution Day falls on Monday 15 November 2027, so the whole country is off. Tepoztlán, Las Estacas and the road from Mexico City will be busy. If you can, do the big trips on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday rather than after the wedding.
The rains have just finished. Dry, warm, clear, and everything is green. Mornings up at Zempoala are genuinely cold though — bring a jacket for that one.
Markets, trailheads and most of Tepoztlán are cash only. Museums close on Mondays, and the Tepozteco trail closes Monday and Tuesday.
